I’m Niva, and alongside my husband, Aalok, we are the co-founders of WILDSOUL. My journey in design began with an undergraduate degree in Interior Design from the National School of Interior Design (NSID), Rajkot, followed by a postgraduate degree in Industrial Design specializing in Ceramics & Glass from the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad.

Aalok, a graduate of NIFT Chennai in Textile Design, is not only a designer but also a passionate professional photographer specializing in Product Photography & Weddings.

Together, our shared love for design and craftsmanship inspired us to build WILDSOUL—a brand that stands for quality, sustainability, and timeless utility. For both of us, being designers has been instrumental in shaping products that are not just beautiful, but meaningful.

Our deep admiration for leather played a defining role in this journey. Its transformative nature, its perishability, and its natural cycle—coming from nature and eventually returning to nature—deeply fascinated us. We were inspired by the way leather lives and evolves, carrying its own story with time. We love how it ages beautifully, developing a rich and unique patina that makes every piece more personal and valuable over the years. Its unmatched luxury, strength, and longevity made it one of our favorite materials to work with, and naturally, we chose it as the foundation of our creations.

As our vision became clearer, we found an exceptional manufacturer of leather goods who shared our commitment to quality and craftsmanship. That partnership gave us the confidence to bring WILDSOUL to life.
